my dog goes mad when he sees another dog?
I have a male shepherd husky mix 7yr / German. He is neutered and adopted a refuge in Anchorage, Alaska and now live in Texas. Since the movement was not enough exercise and gained a little weight, but always afraid when he sees other dogs. He first concentrate on the other dog, even if I do not listen and will begin this plaintive cry and bounce the horrible racket learned that I do not like their behavior, so you do not withdraw after the dog, or even pull the belt as it has did when I got it, but there are monsters. I tried to make you feel (he hates to start) until it calms down the first time he starts to panic and tried to scream, pulling on the leash, trying to divert attention and still problems with self-control. Sometimes it looks like he knows I do not like what he does and he's sorry, but can not help it. Help?
Try an electronic collar training. They make several types. There are those who spray of citronella, others are given a small electrical charge. It is protecting its territory and has to learn that barking, growling things is unacceptable. Good luck.
