Feeding children with autism / ADHD?
We have a small-autistic son, much like ADHD. He was diagnosed with autism severe at the age of 3. However, the production (a little), answers questions calmly, with a normal brightness, reads well and everything. Today is 8 years. Their main problem is the development and can not sit still long. We work every day with him on these disturbing features. My issue is your diet, like the food it (especially through the colors). Most of these starchy and fatty foods, bread IE, Mac N Cheese, hot dogs, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, cheese, spaghetti, Pb and jam, especially breakfast items with irony. I ate bananas, not much, and sometimes I still eat apples and strawberries. However, as plants not potatoes, fish, red meat, rare fruits that I mentioned, that's all. How do you learn to expand somewhat and reduce the starch and fat?
What about trying to make the food are not similar to eating foods that will? Or in small increments? I read a book called "The elephant in the courtyard recreation, "it comes to raising children with special needs, and he, a parent describes how her only son to eat more often junk food, and trying to get to eat a peanut butter sandwich so he could get a little protein at least. He liked chocolate, so she and her husband began leaving a few chocolate bars taste, being one of the peanut butter cups Reese. This is went well, so it was a piece of chocolate with creamy peanut butter. He loved it too, so they moved butter Ritz Crackers Peanut (knowing that he liked what Ritz crackers normal). This worked. The last step before the toasted sandwich with peanut butter complete, chopped in circles to look like the Ritz crackers, peanut butter (same size and all). And finally, what makes peanut butter sandwiches. So start small. Maybe try to incorporate in its beef spaghetti, maybe peanut butter and bananas instead of gelatin (as said, I was eating bananas). What about drinks? Do you like smoothies? You could mix some types of fruit and juice to make a smoothie.
