What is the best?
A retractable leash or a 6-foot leather. My cousin says the shrink, allowing their "precious puppy wuppy" to feel that he is free, as is animial (which is an 8-month rottie BTW). I say a 6-foot leather strap, which allows more control over your dog if some thing happens, whether your dog or someone else. Who is right?
I prefer a leather strap, simply because I feel more to control my dog, and is safer. If you have a large breed I recommend a choker collar and a leather strap, or until it is formed, you can throw in all directions! I have a big dog, and when he sees a squirrel, I suddenly takes a walk! I do not have my dog up he was eighteen months, and was more difficult to train, but has improved.
